Children’s Connection at San Tan Bible Church exists to demonstrate Christ’s love through sharing and modeling God’s Word to children in a safe and caring environment.
Jesus said, "Let the little children to come to Me; and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." The mission of Children's Connection at San Tan Bible Church is to lead our children to Jesus. We do this by teaching them His Word and by living a Christ centered, Holy Spirit filled life for them to see and model.
While we know it is the responsibility of the parents to teach and model Christ for their children, we want to help parents as much as we can along their way. Paul reminded Timothy, "You, however, continue in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned them, and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus". We have an awesome responsibility to raise our children in the truth of God's Word, both as parents and the church.
To that end, we've decided to use Generations of Grace (GoG) from Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, CA as our curriculum. GoG takes a child through the Old Testament historical books, the life of Christ, Acts, and Revelation over the course of three years. As the child gets older, their study of these books gets more in depth, giving them a strong foundation in God's Word. Parents are encouraged to follow up with their child throughout the week and are given passages of scripture to read, songs to sing, and questions to ask to help their child retain and apply what they have learned at church. Our goal is that every child that comes to Children's Connection thoroughly learns God's Word. We will pray and plead with God that He will use that knowledge to lead them to their salvation.
We currently offer Children's Connection for ages birth through sixth grade.
